Terraformers is an expansive turn-based strategy colony sim and resource management game developed by Asteroid Lab Explore and transform the red planet make spectacular cities, and spread life all over the world with the use of ambitious projects.

• Send the leaders you have into locations that have not been scouted yet, so they can discover rich resource deposits, giant crystal caves, and stunning natural wonders.
• Mine the rare minerals and manufacture them into consumer goods, and set up an effective transportation system between your growing cities.
• Develop new cities on lava tubes and craters do whatever you can to make them thrive and meet your population’s demands.
• Revive a dead volcano, construct giant space mirrors, or crash ice-laden asteroids its up to you how you want to geo-engineer the planet.
• Each life you want to seed will need a different and specific requirement to plant full-grown forests with bears or spread adaptive bacteria.

I was hoping Terraformers would help transport me off this dying Earth into a science-fiction fantasy. It did not. Instead, I found a challenging strategy game that distracted me in a whole different way. It made me into someone who needed to play for just one more turn. That is decidedly familiar territory! But a space I enjoy. Terraformers won’t transport you to another world, but they will help you puzzle your way through the hours on this one.
