- Shape your followers to your own design by combining bodily forms, societal traits, and arcane powers like cannibal halflings to mystic elves, or recreate tried and true fantasy tropes. Enhance your empire by seeking magical tomes, and see your armies and people become angelic beings or scions of chaos.
- Battles are played out in turn-based fashion allowing you to flex your tactical muscles, from skirmishes with roaming monsters to sieges with dozens of units from each side. Plenty of variety of empire types, units, and environments help keeps the game endlessly repayable. Every choice you make opens up a world of possibilities and tactical advantages.
- You will be able to explore a different realm after each game or you can make your own realm, with new challenging variations, combinations, locations, and features. The nearly decade-long gap between releases gave Triumph a chance to polish Age of Wonders 3’s weak points and develop substantial improvements to combat and presentation. The result is one of the best grand strategy games in ages.
